K Annamalai, one of the BJP’s strongest and most significant leaders in Tamil Nadu, has finally submitted his resignation letter in a meeting with Nitin Nabin, Amit Shah, and national Gen Sec, BL Santosh in Delhi. He is set to launch a new party as a better alternative to BJP in the state.

State-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) may hike auto fuel prices up to Rs 12 per litre due to the urgency of being able to counterbalance the losses that occurred on sale of petrol and diesel, as per analysts.

In a post on social media, Gandhi termed the government action as a “cover-up”, reiterating his demand for the dismissal of the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. His comments came after CBSE chairman Rahul Singh and secretary Himanshu Gupta were transferred by the government.
