Former President Donald Trump has twice responded to President Joe Biden’s “garbage” remark made about Trump supporters, with the latest coming just before midnight. Biden was asked during a Kamala Harris virtual campaign rally on Tuesday about a remark made by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe during a trump rally Sunday when the comedian called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.” The president said, “The only garbage I see floating out there is [Trump] supporters.” BIDEN CALLS TRUMP SUPPORTERS ‘GARBAGE’ DURING HARRIS CAMPAIGN EVENT AS VP PROMISES UNITY AT ELLIPSE RALLY Based on the 74.2 million votes that Trump received in the 2020 election, according to the Federal Elections Commission, the sitting president called nearly half of the country’s voters “garbage.” Trump didn’t hesitate to tweet a response. “While I am running a campaign of positive solutions to save America, Kamala Harris is running a campaign of hate,” Trump wrote. “Now, on top of everything, Joe Biden calls our supporters “garbage.” You can’t lead America if you don’t love the American People. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have shown they are both unfit to be President of the United States. That didn’t work out.” “Garbage, I think, is worse,” Trump said. “But he doesn’t know. You have to please forgive him.” Biden’s remark came while Harris had her last major campaign event — which was near the White House. The White House tried walking back Biden’s statement by releasing this: “Earlier today I referred to the hateful rhetoric about Puerto Rico spewed by Trump’s supporter at his Madison Square Garden rally as garbage—which is the only word I can think of to describe it,” Biden tweeted. “His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable. War torn regions have keen interest in US elections

As the country braces for Nov. 5, Americans are not the only ones keeping a close eye on election day. For many in war-torn regions throughout the world, the outcome of the U.S. election could mean the difference between life and death. Amit Segal, chief political analyst for Israel’s Channel 12, told Fox News Digital that Israeli citizens are following the U.S. election “very closely” and are fully aware of the “dramatic” impact the election will have on the Middle East and their lives. He said that though the spirits of Israeli citizens have improved since the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attacks, “the fact that there is an ongoing war with dead soldiers almost on a daily basis” is taking a toll on the people. Israel’s targeted response against Iran sends new warnings to regime about IDF’s capabilities, experts say Over the weekend, Israeli air force jets bombed several Iranian military sites. Israel also launched an attack in northern Gaza in an effort to stop Hamas forces from regrouping. In response, Iran has vowed to “use all available tools to deliver a definite and effective response” to the attacks. Amid this time of difficulty, Segal said that most Israeli citizens believe former President Donald Trump would enable Israel to defeat its enemies. Segal shared a recent Channel 12 poll that found Israelis favor Trump over Vice-president Kamala Harris 66 to 17 percent. “There is a hope in Israel that Trump would bring with him a much more staunch approach, a much more tough approach against Iran, thus enabling Israel to act more freely against the arms of the octopus,” Segal explained. This election cycle, Trump has cast himself as Israel’s protector, contrasting himself with the Democrats who he said support the “total annihilation” of Israel. During his first term, Trump was instrumental in brokering the “Abraham Accords” which offered one of the most significant breakthroughs in improving Israeli-Arab relations in decades. Segal said that Harris is more of an unknown regarding her policy toward Israel. Harris appears to agree with protester accusing Israel of genocide: ‘What he’s talking about, it’s real’ “Harris is a mystery, but her party is not a mystery, and the party is rapidly turning to the left and that’s the reason why I say the vast majority of Israelis are worried,” he said. Harris has said, “we are prepared to defend Israel, as we have before, we will again.” Yet, she has also insisted that “there must be a de-escalation in the region.” Segal said that many Israelis, both inside and outside the government, are afraid that, as president, Harris would hinder Israel’s efforts in Gaza and beyond, resulting in reduced security for the country and its citizens. In addition to allowing Israel to continue its defense efforts, Segal said he believes the most important question is whether the next administration will cooperate with Israeli hopes to disable Iran’s nuclear facilities. “The Democratic administrations, led by Obama and Biden, opposed it. There is a hope in Israel that Trump would support it passively or even actively,” he said.  Trump says Israel should hit Iran’s nuclear facilities, slamming Biden’s response According to strategic military intelligence analyst and Russia expert Rebekah Koffler, leaders in Russia and Ukraine hope for a Harris victory. Koffler was born and raised in Russia and formerly worked for the CIA as a Russian doctrine and strategy specialist.  She told Fox News Digital that Ukrainian leaders favor Harris because they believe she will continue the Biden administration’s policy of sending tens of billions of dollars in military aid. In the same vein, she said that Ukraine fears that Trump, who has criticized the Biden administration’s funding of Ukraine, will cut off aid and pressure them to make territorial concessions to end the war. Koffler said that Russian intelligence services, meanwhile, have profiled Harris as “unintelligent, incompetent and vapid,” which she said, “makes it easier for them to deceive and manipulate her.” Though many have criticized Trump’s conciliatory language regarding Putin, Koffler said that in terms of policy, the former president’s first term was “the most anti-Russia policy” in U.S. history. She said, “there’s no one that Putin fears more than Trump.” If Trump is given a second term, Koffler believes the war will be over within the first three months. On the other hand, a Harris victory would allow Russian President Vladimir Putin to continue the war as is and simply outlast Ukraine. “[Putin] is prepared for a very long war,” she said. “So, if Harris continues, whatever she can squeeze out of the American people if she still can. ‘Abused the laws’: GOP bill vows to shut down key Biden-era policies benefitting migrants

FIRST ON FOX: A bill by Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., would shut down a slew of Biden-era moves to allow migrants into the U.S. or to be protected from deportation, as Republicans look to a potential political upheaval next year to change the direction of U.S. immigration policy. Banks is introducing the End Executive Branch Amnesty Act, which would take aim at the Biden administration’s use of humanitarian parole to allow migrants into the U.S., and to limit the use of Temporary Protected Status to protect them from deportation. The Biden administration, as part of its efforts to expand lawful pathways for migration to curb the ongoing migrant crisis at the border, has used parole to allow in 1,450 migrants a day using the CBP One app at the border. It has also allowed over 500,000 migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela into the U.S. to fly into the U.S. using a separate program. CONSERVATIVES DISMISS BIDEN PAROLE LIMITS ON 500K MIGRANTS: ‘OPTIC-DRIVEN SMOKESCREEN’  The Biden administration says those programs have worked to limit migration and provide an orderly process at the border. Republicans have claimed that the moves represent an abuse of parole to allow in otherwise inadmissible foreign nationals. The CHNV program was briefly paused after DHS found evidence of fraud from sponsors. “It is a key element of our efforts to address the unprecedented level of migration throughout our hemisphere, and other countries around the world see it as a model to tackle the challenge of increased irregular migration that they too are experiencing,” Homeland Security Secretary Alejando Mayorkas said earlier this year. Separately, the Biden administration has used Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to allow migrants from countries facing conflict and hardship to remain protected from deportation, including countries like Venezuela and Haiti. Critics have pointed to towns like Charleroi, Pa., Springfield, Ohio, and Logansport, Indiana as examples of parts of the country that have struggled with an influx of migrants who have been paroled.  Banks’ bill would restrict TPS designations by requiring Congress to approve them for 12 month terms, and requiring additional moves by Congress to extend them.  The bill would also limit parole to a hard cap of 1,000 a year, significantly reduced from the hundreds of thousands allowed currently. Parole would also only be allowed for limited circumstances like emergency medical cases. BIDEN ADMIN MOVES TO SHIELD THOUSANDS OF LEBANESE NATIONALS IN US FROM DEPORTATION The bill would also impose stricter eligibility and placement criteria for unaccompanied children amid reports of UACs being lost track of by authorities. Meanwhile, the use of DHS documents like Notices to Appear and CBP One app would be barred from being used for airport security checks. While the bill would face a tough challenge in a Democratic-controlled Senate and would almost certainly be vetoed by President Biden or Harris, the bill would likely draw significant support in Republican-controlled chambers and executives.  “The Biden-Harris administration has abused the laws on the books to grant millions of non-citizens legal status. Republicans must restore our immigration system to Congress’s original intent and ensure parole is only used as a last-ditch humanitarian measure to help foreign nationals in times of catastrophe,” Banks said in a statement. CLICK HERE FOR MORE IMMIGRATION COVERAGE Banks mentioned Logansport, which is in his state of Indiana, and which has seen an estimated 5,000 Haitian migrants in a few years — in addition to the millions who have crossed the southern border. “Over the past three years, millions of foreigners have made the dangerous and illegal journey across our southern border because of the Biden-Harris administration’s promise of future amnesty. Democrats broke our immigration system, and my bill would help fix it by ending mass parole and other magnets drawing people here illegally.” The bill comes with days left before Election Day, and with Vice President Harris and former President Trump dueling over who is the better candidate for border security and immigration. Harris has pointed to a recent but sharp drop in border encounters under the Biden administration and has hammered Trump for failing to back a bipartisan security bill to increase funding for the border. Trump claims that the border crisis is due to the Biden administration’s rolling back of his policies, and has promised to restore many of them and launch a campaign of mass deportation.

The country’s eyes are again locked on Pennsylvania this election cycle, with former President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris making their final pitches to Keystone State voters ahead of Election Day.  Trump held a massive rally at Manhattan’s Madison Square Garden Sunday evening in what was described as the 45th president’s final pitch to voters, while Harris made her final pitch in the nation’s capital Tuesday at the Ellipse, located just south of the White House and north of the National Mall.  Amid their high-profile closing arguments for the election cycle, both candidates have continued their laser focus on Pennsylvania, which is viewed as the state that will likely determine the overall outcome of the election.  Trump’s schedule this week included a rally Tuesday in Allentown, located about 60 miles north of Philadelphia, and another campaign stop Tuesday in Philadelphia’s suburbs of Delaware County. Nine years ago, Donald Trump came down that escalator at Trump Tower and said that he was going to make America Great again by protecting our southern border, by rebuilding our economy and making sure that America was strong enough to protect our interests and our allies around the world. Tonight, at the end of that room, as we enter the last eight, seven days before this election, Donald Trump is still fighting every single day for every single American and every single family and every single voter,” he said.  Harris is expected to travel to Harrisburg, the state’s capital, on Wednesday, after visiting Philadelphia on Sunday. Harris’ rally is billed as a get-out-the-vote initiative in the waning days of the election. Surrogates and high-profile supporters of the Harris campaign are also flooding the state this week, including former President Clinton joining Democratic Sen. John Fetterman for a “Unity” event in Johnstown Tuesday and actor Martin Sheen holding a press conference in support of Harris ahead of Trump’s Allentown visit on Tuesday.  ‘ADMIRES DICTATORS’: HARRIS CONTINUES COMPARING TRUMP TO HITLER DURING BATTLEGROUND STATE TOWN HALL Both campaigns have spent more than half a billion dollars in ads alone in Pennsylvania, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported last week. Democrats spent more than $294.7 million in Pennsylvania, while Republicans spent $243.6 million in the Keystone State. The funds spent far exceed ad buys in other battleground states, including Michigan, which trails Pennsylvania ad expenses by a combined $185 million.  For the Trump campaign, tech billionaire Elon Musk has been featured prominently in Pennsylvania. The SpaceX CEO has jumped from events in Philadelphia’s suburbs to the rolling hills of Amish country in Lancaster to rally support for the Republican ticket.  “I’m doing this because I think it’s critical to the future of the country. If America falls, nothing else matters. We’re not getting to Mars or anything,” Musk said in Pittsburgh last week.  “I’m hoping that we get President Trump elected, and then I’ll work hard on the Department of Government efficiency.” ELON GOES ON CAMPAIGN BLITZ AGAINST GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS, VOWS TO REVEAL BIZARRE ALLEGED SCHEMES Musk announced earlier this month that voters in battleground states were eligible for a $1 million a day giveaway after signing the America PAC’s petition backing the Constitution, which he has touted while on the campaign trail in Pennsylvania. The initiative outlines that it only applies to registered voters in the battleground states of Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Wisconsin and North Carolina, and if they sign the petition.  “The First and Second Amendments guarantee freedom of speech and the right to bear arms. By signing below, I am pledging my support for the First and Second Amendments,” the petition states.  As the campaign enters its final days, Musk has continued rallying support on X, including reminding Pennsylvania voters that Tuesday marked the last day for early in-person voting in the state.  Since Harris emerged as the top presidential candidate for the Democratic ticket in July after President Biden dropped out of the race amid mounting concern over his mental acuity and age, Fox News found the vice president has visited Pennsylvania at least 15 times, as of Tuesday. Philadelphia was where Harris announced Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate and where she prepared for her September Philadelphia debate against Trump.  ‘I’M GOING WITH TRUMP’: 3 FORMER DEMS FROM PENNSYLVANIA EXPLAIN HOW FORMER PRESIDENT WON THEM OVER Trump has also visited the state at least 15 times since the end of July, Fox News found. Trump’s history with Pennsylvania was underscored by an assassination attempt on his life July 13 in Butler, when a man named Mathew Crooks opened fire on Trump and his supporters. Trump was injured on the side of his head by the shooting, and two other rallygoers were also injured. Local man Corey Comperatore died protecting his family during the violence.  Ohio Sen. JD Vance, Trump’s running mate, has visited the state at least 13 times since the start of August. Walz has visited Pennsylvania at least nine times since August, data compiled by Fox News found.  Pennsylvania carries 19 electoral votes and historically voted for Democratic presidential candidates dating to 1992, until Trump’s successful 2016 election. Backlash builds against Bezos as non-endorsement sparks huge surge in cancellations

I agree with Jeff Bezos on one thing: Nobody trusts the media anymore. But killing the Washington Post’s Kamala Harris endorsement days before the election was a colossal blunder, a giant stink bomb tossed into the campaign. And the damage just keeps escalating. LIBERAL PAPER’S NEWSROOM IN UPROAR OVER OWNER BEZOS’ ‘TONE-DEAF’ OP-ED, STAFFER SAYS One-third of his editorial board, including some prominent journalists, have resigned from those positions. NPR says 250,000 people have canceled their subscriptions, 10 percent of its 2.5 million paid subscribers. He couldn’t have wounded the Post’s reputation more if he had set the Washington headquarters afire. Nice work, sir. Sure, national newspaper endorsements don’t matter much these days. If Bezos had announced the no-endorsement policy six months ago, nobody would have cared. And in his first defense, an opinion column posted on the paper’s website, the billionaire admits as much.  “I wish we had made the change earlier than we did, in a moment further from the election and the emotions around it,” he writes, chalking it up to “inadequate planning” on his part. I’ve been saying this for days. Not having enough Amazon van drivers is inadequate planning. This was a fiasco. RACIST TALK AT RALLY MARS TRUMP’S MESSAGE, BUT HE SCORES ON JOE ROGAN PODCAST The reason he did this is clear to me: fear of Donald Trump. The two men have had a testy relationship. Bezos figures Trump has a good shot at winning and history of bearing grudges, even labeling opponents “the enemy within,” a phrase he defended in his Trump Tower interview with me.  Why antagonize the guy further? Killing the Harris endorsement is a win for Trump. Amazon and the Blue Origin rocket company do a lot of business with the federal government. Bezos even sued the Trump administration for denying a contract he felt he should have had. So this is sort of a peace offering. But at what price? The surge in subscription cancelations reflect a deep feeling among readers that the paper betrayed them. It’s very hard to earn that back. Former Post editor Marty Baron, who covered the Trump administration, has accused his old paper of “spinelessness” and was on TV yesterday, saying such actions destroy trust. Top columnists are taking on the boss in published pieces, which the newsroom, to its credit, has also covered aggressively. It’s a similar situation at the Los Angeles Times, where biotech mogul Patrick Soon-Shiong killed a Harris editorial and adopted a no-endorsement stance. Three top opinion editors quit the paper outright. In that case, his daughter was involved and spoke of the U.S. backing “genocide,” meaning in Gaza. USA Today has now jumped on the no-endorsement bandwagon. But there’s far more interest in the Post, where I worked for three decades, because of the Bezos factor and its inside-the-Beltway status. Even Woodward and Bernstein have spoken out against the move. MAYOR ADAMS SCOLDS MEDIA FOR ASKING ABOUT HEINOUS TRUMP COMPARISONS Bezos and his billions actually deserve credit for saving the Post since buying it 11 years ago. He poured money into his new acquisition, trying to improve its digital side, and didn’t meddle with the newsroom. I don’t care if these and other papers endorse or not. As the owner, Bezos has the right to set editorial policy. It’s just the bungling that has caused this incredible backlash. Look, for the past two years, the Post’s left-leaning editorial pages have told us what they think on every issue under the sun, mostly with anti-Trump attacks. Then, with the election approaching, the owner has a fainting spell and says oh no, we couldn’t possibly tell you what we think about this – the most important decision a newspaper has to make every year, short of opining on war and peace. Heavens, no. Bezos had no problem with the Post endorsing Democrats in 2016 and 2020. Only now does he pull the plug on that. And if backing a White House contender is such an outrage, why does the paper continue to make endorsements in state and local races? There’s one other thing on which I agree with Bezos. While newspaper editorial pages are focused on racial and gender diversity, they lack ideological diversity. Bezos wants more conservative voices. That’s why he brought in Will Lewis, a Brit who previously worked at the Wall Street Journal. But when Lewis was under scrutiny in the old British hacking scandal, he clashed with then-Post editor Sally Buzbee, who said of course we have to cover that controversy. She soon resigned rather than accept a demotion. Intentionally or otherwise, Bezos has set the Post back 10 years. What I mean is that a decade from now, people will still be talking about this. But all these subscription cancellations are hurting the paper that they profess to care about, undermining the journalists who work there, especially since the staff was decimated by a recent round of layoffs and buyouts. What many are saying is that if your beef is with Bezos, why not cancel Amazon Prime instead?
