After their police custody ended, the accused appeared before the Vadgaon Maval court. The police requested a remand extension and permission to conduct polygraph tests on both.

Hospital staff said the incident occurred around 1am Thursday when the two men came to the emergency ward at Bundelkhand Medical College to admit a patient. They allegedly caused a disturbance, verbally abused doctors and nurses, and prevented them from doing their jobs.

According to sources, the action pertains to applications that were allegedly being misused to disable batteries installed in e-rickshaws and vehicles.
