Reports of an alleged attack on a vessel carrying Indian seafarers near the strategically important Strait of Hormuz have sparked concern. The Shipping Ministry has finally come forward and issued a statement clarifying the situation and outlining the latest developments.

The High Court has listed the matter for hearing on Friday (June 12). A division bench of Justices Neena Bansal, Krishna and Madhu Jain has sought a response from the Centre and the Central Board of Secondary Education in the matter.
