The initiative, taken by MP Kanwar Singh Tanwar, has been given the green light by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari. The bypass will connect the toll plaza near Gajraula to the highway, providing a smoother journey for commuters.

The airline said it is currently identifying flights where customers were severely impacted and stranded between December 3 and 5, and all such customers will be contacted in January to receive compensation.

Delhi’s air quality witnessed a sharp deterioration on Saturday morning, with the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 393 at around 8 am, placing it in the ‘Very Poor’ category, as per data released by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
