A major rally organised by West Bengal government employees in Kolkata brought out their aggression against the state government. Around 200 people on Sunday demanded the immediate release of pending Dearness Allowance arrears.

The government has devised a plan to support farmers in developing industrial areas on their land. Farmers with 10-50 acres of land can lease it out and develop industrial areas.

This development comes after India and Canada attempt to re-establish their relationship following the diplomatic tensions that arose in 2023.
