Amid tightened security arrangements in the national capital, Delhi Police on Thursday issued a travel advisory urging passengers to reach railway stations, metro stations and the airport well in advance to avoid delays during mandatory checks.

As air pollution in the Delhi-NCR region is growing at a lethal rate, taking cognizance of the matter, the Supreme Court has said that the pollution levels in Delhi had reached a “very serious” stage and that “wearing masks alone is not enough.”
