The draft rules have been placed in the public domain for comments and suggestions before being finalised. The Centre has invited comments and feedback from stakeholders until October 31.

At least nine children died after consuming allegedly spurious cough syrup in Madhya Pradesh, Dr Pawan Nandurkar, Associate Professor and Head of Paediatrics in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhindwara district, said, as cited by news agency ANI.
