The IRCTC will offer branded food inviting F&B players like industrial kitchens, restaurant chains, and flight caterers to serve high-quality food with elaborate menu. The move is taken to improve on-board catering services in trains.

The initiative, taken by MP Kanwar Singh Tanwar, has been given the green light by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari. The bypass will connect the toll plaza near Gajraula to the highway, providing a smoother journey for commuters.

The airline said it is currently identifying flights where customers were severely impacted and stranded between December 3 and 5, and all such customers will be contacted in January to receive compensation.
