BJP leaders Sambit Patra and Ravi Shankar Prasad launched a sharp attack on the CJP protest, calling it a ‘flop show’, and also accusing LOP Rahul Gandhi of ‘disrespecting’ constitutional institutions.

A confrontation between CJP co-convenor Saurav Das and a woman passenger became the focus of a viral flight video as CJP leaders were detained after landing in Delhi ahead of their planned Jantar Mantar protest.

Amid mass detentions over the banned Jantar Mantar protest, Delhi Police showcased a humanitarian side, informing detained CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke of his grandmother’s death and offering help to fly home for her funeral.
