The Indian Railways have taken a big step to revise rules in waiting list tickets to avoid overcrowding and offer smooth experience in traveling.

Air India has been asked to respond within seven days as to why appropriate enforcement action should not be initiated against them under the applicable provisions of the Aircraft Rules and Civil Aviation Requirements for the violations.

Air India faced more heat as the Aviation Industry Employees’ Guild (AIEG) demanded a CBI probe into the sacking of two cabin crew members by the airline for reporting a technical fault in the aircraft last year.
