IIT Bombay has rescheduled its September 26-27 mid-semester exams to October 10-11, with the same timetable, amid protests over student Sahil Wakode’s death.

The Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha cited states like Haryana, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, questioning how the anti-incumbency in these states had “disappeared.”

Sahil Wakode’s parents plan a hunger strike demanding the arrest of IIT Bombay officials named in the FIR as protests continue over the student’s death.
