President of India Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday conferred the prestigious Padma Awards to recipients from various walks of life during the second Civil Investiture Ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. The event was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Union Ministers.

India is all set to conduct mock drills in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. The drills will be held in districts bordering Pakistan.
