Congress slammed the BJP on Tuesday after nomination papers of Meenakshi Natarajan, the party’s candidate for Rajya Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh, were rejected, with a Congress delegation also going to meet the Election Commission over the issue.
It has been 12 years since BJP led NDA came to power at the Centre in 2014. In his last two terms and his first decade as PM, Modi government introduced various reform measures and particularly made strides in ease of doing business.
Addressing a press conference, she accused the saffron party of having “subverted elections in Madhya Pradesh” earlier. She said that the BJP fielded a third candidate despite lacking the requisite numerical strength.
