Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke led a major protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, demanding Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation over alleged exam irregularities.

Delhi Police have arrested cook Keshav Negi in connection with the Malviya Nagar hotel fire that claimed 21 lives. Investigators allege negligence on his part as the probe continues to examine safety lapses, licensing violations, and the circumstances that led to the deadly blaze.

At the stir, the 59-year-old activist said that demand for Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s removal was “only the beginning”, adding that the larger goal was to reform the Indian education system.
