According to the Delhi Fire Service, 11 fire tenders rushed to the site to douse the flames. The fire, which broke out in the college library, was brought under control around 9:40 AM.

At least 10 militants were killed in a gunfight with soldiers of an Assam Rifles unit in Manipur’s Chandel district on Wednesday, Army officials said in a statement. A significant number of arms and ammunition were also recovered from them, according to the statement.

Meanwhile, three terrorists with affiliation to the Lashkar-e-Taiba were killed in an encounter in Shopian, South Kashmir on Tuesday. The confirmation of the identification of two out of three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT)-affiliated terrorists has been made, sources told ANI.
