A shocking case of double murder followed by suicide unfolded in Lucknow on Thursday. A man allegedly shot his wife at her workplace, then returned home to kill his sister before taking his own life.

The apex court said it would pass a formal order after considering all aspects relating to the constitution and functioning of the committee.

The court passed the order while hearing various petitions filed by the newly appointed officers against the government’s decision.
