Rising uncertainty has led businesses that depend on the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) pact to pull back on investment in Texas, experts say.

Many of the roughly 80,000 Texas residents in the program are facing renewal delays that can leave them undocumented, unable to legally work and exposed to possible deportation.

The Republican attorney general is starting a tour next week to promote the plan, which would create new housing and healthcare tax write-offs.
