Delhi Police registered 4 FIRs over INDIA bloc’s Oct 12 March for Democracy in Delhi for alleged violation of BNSS Section 163; opposition leaders marched to Supreme Court over SIR irregularities.

A bench comprising Justices Vikram Nath and Apresh Kumar Singh sought responses on Gandhi’s petition and asked respondents to reply within four weeks. The court’s order stays the proceedings before the lower court for now.

Four of his associates were also hit by bullets during the incident. In total, five injured persons, including Jhota, were taken to the civil hospital. Doctors said Jhota had suffered three gunshot wounds – two in his abdomen and one in his thigh.
